Importance of wisdom and understanding

"How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!" - Proverb 16:16
This is one of the famous bible verse which is telling about the importance of wisdom and understanding. We all know that value of education is bigger than having a diamond in the hand because it is that much precious. It is very important that we need to gain more knowledge it can help us on our ways and in difficulty times in which money can't help us. In James 1:5 it is said that 'if anyone lacks wisdom, you should ask god' in the beginning to the end of the bible it is giving more importance to wisdom and to the understanding for that bible itself a book has been there- Proverb. In order to learn more about Jesus and his words it is necessary to have wisdom or otherwise we can't understand the words of god in deeper and deeper. In Proverb 1:7 it is saying that 'the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom' so it is important that in order to gain wisdom one should need to have fear in god. Another important thing that told in the above verse is the understanding it is not possible for a person to understand everything that he/she sees for that they need a guidence from a particular person. Jesus is the perfect guide who can teach us with the way of understanding it properly. In our key verse it is saying that it is better if we have wisdom rather than gold it is because wisdom is something that precious than even gold and another thing is it is better if we have correct understanding rather than having a silver in hand. Our wealth, money and everything will be loose some way or another way but the love of god and the wisdom that we gained will not be go it will come till last of us. Bible is the book of knowledge when we read it more and more we get more ideas about various thing. Behind all the inventions and developments in this world Jesus has a big role in it when we read the bible and study it clearly we can understand it well that is why bible says wisdom and understanding is very valuable than the wealth of the world.
